Transition

This is a system module for navigation in the menu tree. If this module has sub-items in the menu tree, clicking on it will automatically take visitors to its first sub-item.

Basic module functionality

Insertion, management in the structure tree, etc.

It is inserted by administrators into the website tree through the creation menu in the website structure item or by selecting "Create sub-item" in the context menu of the structure tree management (see).

It can be inserted into any branch of the website tree.

The number of insertions is not limited.

Each insertion has its own settings independent of other insertions.

Module management and other functionality

In the editing of the inserted transition module, you can:

Enter the name of the menu item;

Select the parent item, i.e., the branch where the current module is located.

Enter an alternative name for creating addresses. When entered, it will be used instead of the one generated from the menu item name.

Enter a CMS name/comment. It will be visible as a small blue marker on the item in the menu tree branches.

Module operation on the frontend (what website visitors see)

The transition module is visible to visitors as a menu tree item. When a visitor clicks on such an item, the first sub-item of this item will be opened.

Additional information and recommendations

It is recommended to create the structure tree using this module if there is a need to optimize website content management, separate logical branches of the website tree, and facilitate navigation for visitors. If, instead of a transition, an article module is used, for example, its content will need to be maintained and updated according to the content of the sub-items. Using the transition module eliminates this problem.
