File management
File Management
Basic Module Functionality
The file management tool is for uploading files to the server. This is third-party software, and its functionality is provided in English.
Installation and Location in the Admin Environment
The functionality is installed by the website developers. This is a CMS tool for uploading files to the server. The file management environment is accessed by clicking the icon in the main navigation tools (see). The tool can also be called from the RTE environment, for example, to insert an icon or an image into the text using the RTE “Insert/edit image” function (see), which opens this tool's window. In it, you can upload the desired graphic file and, after selecting it, insert it into the text being edited.

Additional Information and Recommendations
Folder naming requirements and recommendations:
It is recommended to name folders in lowercase, starting with a lowercase letter.
It is recommended to create folder names using only Latin characters (avoiding Lithuanian letters, etc.).
Folder names should be very concise - ideally one word.
If a folder must be named with multiple words, a “-” (hyphen) must be used as a word separator. For example, “folder-name”.
IMPORTANT! The location of a file (the folder it is in), its name, and the ability to delete files and folders affect previously created content. For example:
If an image that was inserted into the content is deleted, it will no longer be displayed in that content.
If an image that was inserted into the content is renamed, it will no longer be displayed in that content.
If an image is moved to another folder, it will no longer be displayed in the content where it was inserted.
If a folder is renamed, all files within that folder that were inserted into the content will no longer be displayed in the content.
Given the circumstances described above, it is recommended to create folders responsibly and, once created and used, not to rename them. This also applies to files. If an uploaded file was placed in a specific folder, it is recommended not to change its location or rename it if this file has already been used in the content. Of course, if the place of use is known and it is possible to correct the system path to the file in the RTE environment, such actions are possible.
