Basic Module Functionality

Installation and Location in the Admin Environment

The functionality is installed by the website developers. This functionality is intended for entering external system codes (e.g., Google Analytics) and viewing local data (Webalizer).

The traffic statistics page is accessed by clicking the icon in the main navigation tools (see).

Management and Other Functionality

The traffic statistics page is divided into two parts.

At the top of the page, you can enter the code for a third-party visitor tracking system in the “Traffic Statistics” field.

In the Webalizer data section, simplified, standard, local statistical data is visible. Webalizer runs on the server where the project (website) is installed and provides the data displayed in this section. The module only works on the developers' servers unless the clients' servers have a configuration analogous to the developers'. More about Webalizer:

Frontend Operation (What Website Visitors See)

This functionality is not visible on the frontend.

Additional Information and Recommendations

Webalizer data is more intended for professionals and may lack certain features needed by the average website owner. The “Google Analytics” system is more user-friendly, so it is recommended to use it as the primary source for visitor statistics analysis, and Webalizer as a secondary one.
