Basic module functionality

Installation, location in the administrator's environment

The module is installed by the website developers. On the CMS side, the privacy policy and cookie text can be edited on the page.

Functionality on the frontend (what website visitors see)

When a visitor enters the website, a notice about the use of cookies is displayed. Visually, it can look like this (the style is adapted to the website design):

In this window, you can click the "privacy and policy text" link to read what the visitor can agree to. It is also possible to disagree by clicking the "Clear on exit" button, which clears the website's cookies, and the visitor is redirected to an empty browser window. After clicking the "I agree" button, the window disappears, a cookie is saved indicating the visitor's consent, and it is not shown to the visitor again, unless the visitor clears the website's cookies in their browser.

Until the privacy and cookie policy is accepted, it is not possible to:

Send emails from the website.

Purchase goods from the website.
