Basic Module Functionality

Installation and Location in the Admin Environment

The module is installed by the website developers. There are no administration tools on the CMS side.

Frontend Operation (What Website Visitors See)

A search field is visible on the website. After a visitor enters the desired word, or part of it, and presses the search button or the Enter key, a list of search results is opened. From the list, one can navigate to a search result.

Extended Functionality (Installed Individually)

Search result prediction as the visitor starts typing the search term. This greatly simplifies and speeds up the search process. Suggested results are provided after just 3 typed letters. In the dropdown results field, one can select a result or, as with the basic functionality, press the search button or the Enter key, which then opens the list of search results. From the list, one can navigate to a search result.

Highlighting the search term, or part of it, within the content of the result page. This makes it much easier to find the specific place in an article, etc., where the visitor's searched word is mentioned.
