System Administrators and Their Management

Basic Module Functionality

Installation, Location in the Admin Environment, and Standard Roles

The module is installed by the website developers. Access to the module's management is gained by clicking the icon in the additional navigation and information tools bar at the top right (see).System Administrators and Their Management – Illustration 1

Standard administrator roles are as follows:

SuperAdmin - can create new administrators, clear the action log, etc., i.e., has full rights.

Admin - cannot create new administrators.

If the website is on the system developers' servers, there is also an additional technical login for proper technical maintenance of the site.

Module Management and Other Functionality

In the administrators module list, you can:

See the list of created administrators. The list entry shows:

Administrator's first and last name.

Login name.

Phone number.

A link (icon) to edit the specific administrator's data (see below).

A link (icon) to delete a specific administrator.

Create a new administrator if the logged-in administrator is a SuperAdmin (see above).

Navigate via the additional navigation link - "Step back".

When editing an administrator's record and, similarly, when creating a new administrator, you can:

Enter the administrator's first name.

Enter the administrator's last name.

Enter the administrator's login name. The login name is assigned by the administrator who creates this administrator. The login name cannot be changed.

Enter the administrator's password. The password is assigned by the administrator who creates this administrator. The password can be changed when editing the administrator's record.

Enter the administrator's phone number.

Enter the administrator's email address.

Assign the administrator SuperAdmin rights. Such an administrator will be able to create other administrators, i.e., will have full rights.

Assign a start page that is displayed when the administrator logs in. This is useful if an administrator, for example, only edits news, etc. - upon logging in, a specific location is opened instead of the structure page.

Module Operation on the Frontend (What Website Visitors See)

This functionality is not visible on the frontend.

Additional Information and Recommendations

For data security reasons, it is recommended not to enter names and surnames, phone numbers, and email addresses. These fields can be left blank, and an anonymized name or number can be assigned to the login name. For example, the login name n70501 will be visible in the action logs (see), and only someone who is authorized to know will know which person is encoded by this login name.

Extended Functionality (Installed Individually)

Extended administrator rights are granted to new administrators. Permissions:

Allowed languages to manage.

Structure management.

Creation of structure objects.

Deletion of structure objects.

Viewing the form database.

Deleting form database records.

Catalog* management.

Creating catalog entries.
